What's with the name?
The writing was on the wall...actually the escalator. Before I started the company I was afraid the name “Fungi” was too weird for most people. One day I was headed to work and thinking real hard about it “Should I just name it Fungi? I really like that name? I'm kind of weird after all. Or maybe I should play it safe?" I stepped off the el train and onto the escalator. I looked down and saw a word spray painted on the step…”Fungi”. I was like “WHAAAAAAAT?!” I quickly snapped this pic and officially incorporated the next day. Crazy right?
Why
FUNGI Media?
People are making more and more videos, tons, loads, terabytes... because that’s what the people want. "WE WANT VIDEOS!!!" Plus the robots (Google, Facebook...etc) are promoting video content, putting it before anything else. But there’s a big problem...what?? Many of these videos are bland, confusing and frankly...boring. In a world full of shrinking attention spans, more isn't always a good thing. So what? How do you stand out from all this noise?
I'm Matt Cornelison and I started FUNGI Media to help grow your audience through visual storytelling. For over fifteen years I've worked with Fortune 500 companies and military organizations to bring their message to life through video. In that time, I've learned a few things. First, if you plan to reach more people, it's not enough to simply explain what you do. You have to create something people are excited to share. Second, I've found that humor and humanity are the best ways to make meaningful connections with people.
So why FUNGI? Because you want to grow your audience and your business. And because growth is fun :)

Choosing the right B2B video production company isn’t easy work. It means finding a partner who understands your business, your audience, your message and your wildest dreams. Look for a team that combines strategy, messaging, and high-quality production, not just someone who shoots video. It also helps to find one that keeps things FUN.
-
Good question. B2B video strategy is the planning and approach behind every piece of content you produce. When done well, it ensures your videos tell a clear story, reach the right audience, and achieve measurable business outcomes. When not done properly, even the best videos can fail to connect. It’s common sense.

How soon do you need it? We’re fairly nimble and work quickly, but timelines vary depending on the project type, scope, and messaging complexity.
